The R19S3 boat shirt in Strata Wax is a wide‑cut overshirt made in Japan from 100% cotton treated with a paraffin wax finish. The cloth is spun and dyed domestically using cotton sourced from Australia and the U.S., woven in Shizuoka, and then coated and baked in Fukui to create MAN‑TLE’s signature MT‑Wax texture—initially stiff and dense, it gradually softens, fades, and develops character over wear.
